Gertrude Jekyll was a pioneer woman landscape designer, among many other things she was really good at.  She said many beautiful things about gardening and this quote caught my interest.  A long saying but some great words.

Roses, roses, roses, had always seemed so complicated to draw, but roses were part of the assignment for this journal cover.  There is such a variety of roses alone! nature is amazing.

I drew all the elements separately and collage them together using Photoshop.  

Drawing and painting flowers is soul satisfying.
