When the challenge was to draw a hummingbird with shoes I felt lost.  I haven't even seen the bird's legs, where was I going to put the shoes?

But after some research and bird watching it became more possible.

That is how Anka, the hummingbird, came to be. She has a friend, a winged moused, named Cliff.  But you will have to wait to meet him.  These two are unalike, but very good friends.
