Choose your Higher Self

Dr. Roger K. Allen summarizes five core principles to live from our higher self.  They are:

  • be present

  • embrace reality

  • exercise responsibility

  • clarify your vision and

  • act from integrity.

They are beautifully explained with some powerful exercises in his e-book, How to Become Emotionally Mature, yes I am recommending it again.  It has some cool illustrations, I must say.

As for me, I finally went to the doctor, I have been feeling at 90% but just not all the way there.  I was afraid and then felt guilty for not having gone earlier.  The doctor said if you even suspect Covid, get tested!  The more data we have the better we can battle the virus.

It is still all so confusing because one literature piece said even if you have the symptoms is unlikely you have it if you haven’t been exposed.  Then in talking to the staff, they said how you may have 1 symptom or none and have the virus.  This gets tricky to an allergy fighter, Fall sinus congested person, who sneezes and has a sore throat almost daily.  The symptoms were the usual, the length got me concerned.

Nonetheless, I have kept myself masked and far away.

I really wish I hadn’t waited because the peace of mind of knowing I am not spreading it, feels better.

Why am I giving you too much information?  Because I have heard some of my friends in the same situations.  Because I want to live proactively and not in fear and scarcity.  Sometimes I remember that later than sooner.  But that is the higher self I want to live from, the one thinking about the big and small picture.

So get tested friends if you are concerned, no shame on it.  Find help when you don’t feel good.  Drink your water and take walks.  It is all-important.

And lots of blessings to our country, this week especially

Some great news!  The Small Works Show at Parklane Gallery will open this week November 5th to January 2nd (TH and Sun 1-5, F and Sat 10-6) and these three pieces will be hanging there!
