As I started painting the different figures, I played with the dress and limited the color palette to the original colors. I am partial to the yellow dress and green stripes sleeves. Which dress do you like?
Ella is the main character of the poem Fair Weather Friend by Shannon Tappana.
I have enjoyed getting to know Ella. She is sweet and soft spoken, easy going and has a great heart.
In drawing her emotions, I explore my feelings (see the notes below the drawings) and the awareness it brings is humbling really.
