Tradición

Tradición

$27.00

Giclee print of mixed water-media original painting of three stylized figures representing different generations, connected by an embrace.
The letters that spell TRADICION and TRADITION are scattered in the circular shape behind them.

Grandma’s sweater is made of a pattern of the fruit ingredients of the Colada Morada, the yellow shirt’s pattern is built with the herbs and spices used for the berry drink, the girl shirt has lines that are yet to be filled. The Colada Morada is their symbolic link.

🌱Growing up in Ecuador, Día de los Muertos was a day filled with tradition, family, and unforgettable flavors. Colada Morada (hot berry drink) and guaguas de pan weren’t just foods; they were a way to connect with loved ones, past and present.

Now, as an expat, I find myself blending old customs with new ones, honoring the roots that shaped me while creating traditions of my own.

Join me in exploring the beauty of heritage and the freedom to carry forward the moments that matter most.
